Hymns By The Sea - Sunset Sea (1995)

Today, a package arrived in my mail with three cassettes: Three of the albums from the Hymns By The Sea series, released by Majestic Moods! I uploaded a CD version of "Gentle Waves" a few years ago, but I am not sure if the copy I got online was the full album. Hymns By The Sea is religious tunes mixed with nature sounds, performed by Steve Gruskin and another guest musician. On this album, Sunset Sea, We have guitarist John Foley. It's very beautiful and a must-listen!

The Majestic Moods series was released by Sunshine Mountains Productions in 1995.

There are four (known) tapes in this series, and I own three of them. The only one I don't have was a special holiday album called Holiday Sunset. 

Robert Martin - Great Peace (1981 - CD QUALITY)

As usual, I got a couple new albums for Christmas to upload here. The first one is Great Peace, by Robert Martin. I have this one up already, but the one previously uploaded was ripped from youtube and was missing a track.  Well, you now get all tracks in awesome quality!

This album is a favorite of mine, especially track 1 - there's a really nice singer on it named Liza Matson, who can also be heard on an obscure Swedish bossa-nova album called "Art & Liza." You can listen to a song from the album here. (This album is highly sought after by bossa nova fans, and the songs were written by Robert Martin. If any of you own this album, send me an e-mail so I can post it here.)

The album isn't electronic. I'll give you a run-down on what you'll hear.

Hey everyone, here it is. For a long time now, ever since I saw the cover art of this tape, I knew it was going to be amazing. And I guess I was right, because I'm really enjoying this release. And I'm not the only one who thinks so. My cat, Ricky, loves it as well, it calmed him down and he's sitting on me as I type, something he rarely ever does (He's a crazy cat type thing.) Anyway, here you go.

Brought to you by the great people (or person, singular) at Sounds Of The Dawn (click here to check them out), We're in for another treat. This is Robert Martin, who released Great Peace in 1981. Robert Martin is one of the few new age artists who does not use any electronics who I like very much (Although electronic piano is in this release.) Normally, I don't like new age music that does not include synthesizers and keyboards. This does not apply to Martin's music. When someone who likes electronic new age exclusively enjoys these releases, you know it must be great.

Originally from 1981, This is an awesome release from Robert Martin. Not electronic-oriented at all, but it's amazing. You're going to love this one. It's missing one track, "Pranavo", but it is only 32 seconds, and I don't have the song.
